2026 Membership
The CNY District Women's Golf Association is looking to add to our membership and we want you! As of 2025, our association is made up of 37 members, each of whom belong to one of our member clubs. Individual membership is only $25 for the season! If you're looking to play competitive golf, in a fun and friendly atmosphere with fellow lady golfers, then we've got you covered!

CNY District Membership includes invitation to each our 2026 Season District Tournaments. Each tournament will have an individual fee. These fees, along with any other club specific details (such as lunch), can be found on the schedule.

All members must have an active GHIN account. You can sign up for a GHIN Handicap Index via your home club. Contact your Pro Shop or Head Golf Professional for more information. There is not a GHIN minimum requirement to join Districts! All handicap indexes are welcome to join. Please note that any players exceeding a 36 HCP will be allotted a maximum of two strokes per hole for their net score.
Every tournament event is split into two flights. Flights are created by dividing the number of players into two group by handicap. Each flight has optional $5 net skins and pays out 6 awards - top 3 gross and top 3 net:

1st Place - $25 (A Flight Gross, A Flight Net, B Flight Gross, B Flight Net)
2nd Place - $20 (A Flight Gross, A Flight Net, B Flight Gross, B Flight Net)
3rd Place - $15 (A Flight Gross, A Flight Net, B Flight Gross, B Flight Net)

*Members are welcome to bring guests to any tournament event. Guests must pay any associated entry fees to the host club. Guests are ineligible for skins, and flight prizes.
**Individuals who do not belong to a member club may join the association as an affiliate member. Please contact us using the contact form if you fall under this category.
***We are currently accepting additional Member Clubs! If you a member of golf course in the 607 region and are interested in joining - we'd love to have you! Please reach out to us via the contact form and someone will be in touch. We will provide everything you need in order to promote Districts to your fellow club members/ladies associations. Club membership is only $20/year and typically paid by the club.
Membership
CLUB MEMBERSHIP: Any properly constituted golf club in the Central New York area shall be eligible for membership in this Association. The term “a properly constituted golf club”, for the purpose of the Association, shall mean a club with “a coordinated membership of women interested in playing mildly competitive golf against other women.”
Upon written application to an officer, a Club shall become a member of the association by a two-thirds vote of those present at any meeting of the member representatives at which there is a quorum, and subsequent payment of dues.(Club Membership is $20.00).

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP: Any woman golfer who is in good standing in a member club and has properly established a U.S.G.A. handicap at that club shall be eligible for individual membership in this association, subject to any ruling of the Board of Governors.
An eligible individual shall become a member of the association upon payment of a yearly fee provided in the By-Laws.(Individual Membership is $25.00).

NON-AFFILIATED MEMBERSHIP: Individuals who do not belong to a member club may join the association as an affiliate member. Affiliate members will pay a $35.00 membership dues fee. Please contact us using the contact form if you are interested in joining as a non-affiliated member.
